Courage  An organization for Roman Catholics who wish to follow the teachings of the church about homosexuality. They offer support groups and counseling services. www.couragerc.net

Desert Stream  Provides Christ-centered help for those struggling with a variety of sexual and relational problems, and for those with life-defining illnesses. www.desertstream.org

Disciples 2:

Exodus International This network of interdenominational Christian ministries offers support to men and women seeking to overcome same-sex attraction. Exodus maintains a referral list of ministries, churches, and individuals. It also publishes a newsletter and sponsors conferences. Call or write for an introductory packet of information. Evergreen International  This nonprofit organization provides direction and support to Latter-day Saint (Mormon) men and women who want to diminish their same-sex attraction and free themselves from homosexual behavior. It is also a resource to family and friends, professional counselors, religious leaders, and all others who wish to help individuals who desire to change. The organization refers people to affiliated support groups and therapists, publishes manuals and newsletters, sells books by mail, and sponsors conferences. Family Research Council  A research, resource, and educational organization that promotes the traditional family. It opposes gay marriage and adoption rights. Focus on the Family  A Christian organization that seeks to strengthen the traditional family. It has done research on homosexuality and school programs, civil rights laws, and other public policy questions. They publish numerous books and a monthly magazine. 420 N. Free To Be Me  A Christian Web site for youth seeking answers on same-sex attraction.  www.freetobeme.com

German Institute for Youth and Society A research and informational organization that investigates and evaluates social developments and seeks to develop workable strategies for the future in the areas of areas of family life, marriage and family, gender studies, sexuality, homosexuality, human rights and media. www.ojc.de

Healing Pathways  An organization that instills hope, courage, peace, and commitment for those seeking help, and who are struggling with same-gender attraction. Provides aid to assist those who desire living a life more consistent with their values. Homosexuals Anonymous  A nondenominational Christian organization that uses a modified twelve–step program modeled on that of Alcoholics Anonymous. H.O.P.E. Ministries  An interdenominational ministry seeking to serve the Body of Christ with support groups, and counseling to those dealing with or affected by homosexuality. www.livehope.org

Institute for the Study of Sexual Identity  A scholarly institute for the study of issues related to sexual identity and for the training of students to be leaders in the discussion that are shaping the culture. www.sexualidentityinstitute.org

International Healing Foundation  A non-profit organization offering healing seminars, teleconferencing classes, speaking engagements, consultations, supervision, resource materials, and referral services. The director, Richard Cohen, M.A., is a prominent therapist in the field of sexual reorientation who has overcome same-sex attraction himself. P.O. Jews Offering New Alternatives to Homosexuality (JONAH)  An umbrella organization for those of the Jewish faith which assists strugglers and concerned parents, spouses and friends. Lambda Report  Americans for Truth (PO Box 5522, Naperville, IL 60567-5522) is dedicated to telling the full truth about the homosexual, bisexual and “transgender” lifestyles, and the well-funded “gay” political groups that advance this agenda. www.americansfortruth.com

LDS Family Services  Provides counseling help to LDS members. LDS Family Services provides free consultation to priesthood leaders and fee-based counseling services to Church members. Help for same-sex attraction may not require a bishop's referral. These services can help individuals and families improve their quality of life.
